Earlier this week, our CEO, Ehren Cory informed me he will be leaving Infrastructure Ontario this spring. I am grateful that Ehren has agreed to an extension of his appointment until April 30 to allow the Board and Government time to put in place next steps to transition the organization to new leadership.

I would like to thank Ehren for his dedication and leadership of IO for the past seven years; three of these years as CEO. He has led IO through significant changes in the market, a new Government and within our agency itself. I am grateful for his vision and steady leadership as the organization released its largest ever P3 project pipeline, administered an ambitious new program of surplus land disposition and advised on broader Government priorities such as affordable housing and long-term care. Ehren will be leaving IO in an excellent position. Our IO team is second to none, and will continue to build on the momentum created under Ehren's leadership and on the agency's international reputation and record of success in the months and years to come.

It has been my pleasure to work with Ehren.
