Non-profit Professional Arts Training Institutes
Since 2008, IO has partnered with Non-Profit Professional Arts Training Institutions to help provide access to affordable financing for capital investments.
Eligibility
Non-Profit Professional Arts Training Institutes in Ontario that meet the following criteria may apply for an IO Loan for capital expenditures
- The Institution's principle purpose must be to provide professional study or training in the arts
- The Institution must have an educational component that is eligible for funding by the Province of Ontario Council for the Arts.

Eligible Projects
IO loans can be used for investment, construction or renovation of any owned capital asset, including:
- Facility expansion, renovation, retrofit or acquisition
- Accessibility improvements
Rates and Terms
IO’s lending rates provide equitable access to affordable financing for all clients. Please contact your
Relationship Manager for today’s rate information. Non-profit Professional Arts Training Institutes may select repayment terms of 5 to 20 years, to match the life of the capital asset.
