• New Vendor of Record (VOR) 2017

! Please be advised that due to the impacts of COVID-19, the prescribed annual refresh cycle scheduled to be posted on April 20, 2020 will be cancelled. Infrastructure Ontario may, at its sole discretion, augment the VOR List of Qualified firms at any time including by soliciting additional Proposals. In the event that Infrastructure Ontario seeks to augment the VOR List of Qualified firms through an ad hoc invitation to provide Proposals, advance notice shall be given to all Qualified firms and prospective Respondents.

Through an open, fair and transparent public procurement process, Infrastructure Ontario has renewed its Vendor of Record (VOR) lists for the following service categories -- general contracting services, architectural and interior design services, and engineering and technical services.

The new VOR lists are effective as of August 1, 2017 for general contracting services and November 1, 2017 for architectural and interior design services as well as engineering and technical services. The new VOR lists are in effect for a three year period, with the potential to be extended for two additional one year terms.

For additional information on the new VOR lists, please refer to the following: General Contracting Services, Engineering and Technical Services, Architectural and Interior Design Services VOR Questions and Answers.

IO is responsible for managing the government’s real estate portfolio, and we value our relationships with industry partners.  The VOR lists are applied to construction-related projects for properties that are:

    • Provincially-owned
    • Leased by or from the provincial government, or
    • Where the provincial government has an interest.

The total value of these projects is approximately $250 million annually in construction and construction-related services. The renewed VOR and the Master Service Agreement between IO and its Project Management Service Providers (PMSPs) are being improved to include:

    • Simpler bidding documentation
    • Best practices in evaluation methodology
    • Increased flexibility to add new prequalified vendors.
