Infrastructure Ontario's Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Lindsay as IO's incoming President and CEO, effective Nov. 1, 2020. Minister of Infrastructure Laurie Scott confirmed Michael's appointment earlier today in a government statement.

Michael's experience at IO, in the private sector, and as a special advisor to government on transit make him well suited to lead IO.

IO provides a broad range of expertise to government regarding its assets, including project delivery, asset management, and commercial advice in its role in bolstering the Province's public assets. We are confident that under Michael's leadership, the IO team will continue to provide valuable guidance and advice to government as the Province continues its historic commitment to infrastructure investment.

The Board and I, and the entire IO team thank Ehren Cory for his service to IO. Under Ehren's leadership, IO brought its 100th P3 project to market, surpassed the $10-billion milestone in loans advanced to municipalities and other non-profit entities and oversaw the introduction of a key Vendor Performance Program across IO's portfolio.

Michael and Ehren will work together to ensure IO continues its important work seamlessly and without interruption.
