Business Planning Analyst - 24 months contract


Our Real Estate division manages the province’s portfolio of government buildings and land, which is one of the largest and most diverse in the country. We oversee the day-to-day operation and long-term maintenance of these facilities through partnerships with private-sector service providers. We are responsible for ensuring provincially-owned real estate is being used in the best, most optimal way. Finding innovative ways to reduce and revitalize the government’s building and land holdings is central to our business and integral to the value we provide Ontarians.

What You Will Do
• The Business Planning Analyst will provide process documentation, system, planning, and strategy support to the Capital Planning department and to our business users.  
• In addition, the role will leverage our VFA asset management software license and work with IT staff and outside service providers to effectively develop and service the assigned business areas.

 

Who We're Looking For
• You will have a post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Engineering, or Real Estate and Asset Management, in addition knowledge of capital investment planning is preferred.
• You will also have a minimum 3 years of experience in the real estate industry, and demonstrate experience in developing and maintaining small business systems.
• You will be experienced in developing tools and other resources, experience developing strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, technically sound in corporate real estate and project data analysis and reporting.
• You will have strong skills to research, analyze, and summarize information to prepare financial models, reports and presentations for senior level decision makers and ministries, the ability to process large amounts of data and communicate complex information to stakeholders, and excellent customer service, negotiation and relationship management skills
