Manager, Finance


 

Our Finance and Lending division is responsible for ensuring that IO is a financially efficient and effectively managed organization and that the agency’s finances are monitored, reported and managed appropriately. The team also manages IO’s infrastructure lending program, which has supported more than $15 billion in local infrastructure development.

As Manager, Finance, you will provide oversight and expert advice regarding continuous improvement of the financial systems, improve efficiencies in the integration and reporting of information between various IO and Service provider managed IT systems, and play an important role with any implementation of systems

What You Will Do

- Oversight and management of payable functions, including the financial administration of the third party leased portfolio
- Provide expert advice to the Real Estate Division in IO and Service Providers on the development of processes supporting new transaction types, as well as efficiency and internal control improvements
- Develop and implement continuous improvements initiatives in operating efficiencies and transactional transparency
- Provide expertise in continuous improvements with existing systems, implementation of new systems, business processes, reporting etc.
- To provide leadership and guidance to staff in an evolving and changing environment.

Who We're Looking For

- A strong finance background, with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience, and a CPA designation
- You must have demonstrable experience in working with a variety of stakeholders, and the ability to lead a diverse team of 3+ people
- Good knowledge of IT systems and best practices in the facility and project management environment.
