Director, Program Management (Agency Governance)


Our Procurement and Program Management division provides professional support and commercial advice to all parts of the organization through the services it provides, including procurement, data analytics, budgeting, and performance management. The Procurement office is a global leader among public sector entities in the procurement of large capital infrastructure projects. The Program Management office ensures consistency and synergy among the capital project cost estimation, budgeting and financial forecasting, quality, process control, continuous improvement, compliance and governance, reporting and analytics functions across the enterprise.

The Director will manage a team of professionals responsible for Agency compliance and governance functions related to business operations and the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario. This person will act as the primary expert within Infrastructure Ontario on current policy and agency governance matters. 

You must have a minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience working in a management role with government ministries and public sector senior management in governance and/or policy, leading and managing professionals in government policy development or governance and working in a management role in government policy making and strong knowledge of how the Ontario provincial government workings approval process from a policy, execution and communications/issues management experience.

We seek an individual with great leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build and drive relationships, attention to detail, a methodical approach to problem solving, and the ability to exercise independent judgment and drive initiatives to a successful conclusion through collaborative means. You will be able to prioritize and organize, while also being able to deal with urgent high-profile items that arise.
